Autonomous Architect

Personal Life things · I'm 21. I study architecture at NJIT and am going into my 4th year. I would say that my architectural style is to only make what I can build by hand. This is where I will put pictures of things that amuse me and snapshots of my daily life via pictures and words. I never want to be a starchitect nor do I ever want to think like one. Instead i want to make things that I enjoy even if they are plain and dull. Something is usually dull until you learn about the process that goes into making it exist and that is wherin I find the drive for my architecture.

I like the exterior design and the landscaping but the minimalism of the furniture and the stairs loses it for me. Its nice to see cleanly drawn lines on the outside of a house to showcase its form, but on the inside it just looks like its sterile. I just wish they would show a house lived in and perhaps the garage if it exists.
